[The title Made in the A.M.] pretty much sums up the whole process. We spent most of our time writing and recording in the early hours of the morning.

We wanted to write nice songs that we like, and think that other people will like. We feel like we’ve done that, and we’re extremely proud of the finished album.

In the past, me and Louis had written a lot. At this stage, everyone joined in which was really cool as we all brought our own influences.
Niall
Five albums in five years, is hectic but thoroughly enjoyable! The process of making an album is a good laugh.

There were great experiences, I had great times with them, but we'd just run our course.
